Siciliana di nascita ma milanese d’adozione, ha fatto della creatività a trecentosessanta gradi la chiave di volta del suo progetto. La freschezza al di fuori di qualsiasi schema è diventata ormai un tratto distintivo di Anna Castiglia e i suoi brani pieni, ricchi, emotivamente e musicalmente, sono la testimonianza di un’espressività stilistica unica nel suo genere. Il palco è l’ambiente naturale in cui è nato e si è sviluppato il suo progetto: dopo aver trascorso mesi sui palchi dei teatri in apertura ai live di Max Gazzè, Anna Castiglia è partita con il suo primo tour, prodotto da OTR Live, che l’ha vista esibirsi in diversi club dello stivale, in attesa dell’uscita del primo disco. Ad aprile 2024 è tornata con il nuovo singolo “Whitman” (feat. Ghemon) e ha annunciato gli appuntamenti del tour estivo, partito da Milano in occasione del Mi Ami Festival. A giugno 2024 Anna Castiglia ha vinto la XXXV edizione di Musicultura con “Ghali”. A luglio 2024 ha pubblicato “U mari”, singolo che è stato eseguito per la prima volta in occasione dell’opening act di Fabi Silvestri Gazzè al Circo Massimo. Il 7 settembre 2024 Anna Castiglia ha aperto il concerto di Carmen Consoli al Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica. L’artista è stata inclusa nel programma Up Next Italia, l’iniziativa di Apple Music rivolta all’identificazione e alla valorizzazione dei talenti emergenti. Il 27 settembre 2024, la cantautrice ha pubblicato il suo primo album “MI PIACE”. Il tour estivo, proprio come è stato per quello primaverile nei club, è stato anche l’occasione per ascoltare il nuovo singolo “Decostruire” (https://ada.lnk.to/decostruire; OTR Live/ADA Music Italy). Il brano, prodotto insieme a Ramiro Levy e Alessandro Di Sciullo,affronta la decostruzione dei propri compromessi e delle aspettative imposte dalla società e dalle relazioni.
Dopo il riscontro positivo ottenuto dalla live session di “Le chiese sono chiuse” insieme alla band I PATAGARRI, a luglio pubblica la versione digitale del progetto “Mi piace a casa di” (https://ada.lnk.to/mipiaceacasadi; OTR Live/ADA Music Italy), con all’interno anche una rivisitazione di “U mari” insieme ai Selton.
L’8 luglio 2025, si aggiudica la Targa Tenco Migliore Album Opera Prima, un grande traguardo per Anna Castiglia che riesce a conquistare con il suo disco d’esordio “MI PIACE” uno dei maggiori riconoscimenti della Canzone d’Autore Italiana.
Anna Castiglia has made 360-degree creativity the cornerstone of her project. Freshness, free from any constraints, has become a hallmark of Anna Castiglia, and her full, rich, and emotionally and musically charged songs are a testament to a stylistic expressiveness that is truly one of a kind.
Sicilian by birth but Milanese by adoption, Anna recently released her latest singles, GHALI and Participio Presente — the latter a song about the famous, indefinitely long apprenticeship of emerging artists, a race down a crowded road in pursuit of success.
The stage is the natural environment where her project was born and developed: after spending recent months performing in theaters as the opening act for Max Gazzè’s live show, Anna Castiglia is now in the midst of her first tour, produced by OTR Live, which sees her performing in various clubs across Italy while awaiting the release of her debut album later this year.
In April, she returned with the new single Whitman (feat. Ghemon) and announced the dates for her summer tour, which kicked off in Milan at the Mi Ami Festival. In June, Anna Castiglia won the 35th edition of Musicultura with “Ghali”.
In July, she released U mari, a single that was performed for the first time as the opening act for Fabi Silvestri Gazzè at the Circo Massimo. On September 7th, Anna Castiglia opened for Carmen Consoli at the Teatro Romano in Ostia Antica.
She was also selected for Up Next Italia, the Apple Music initiative aimed at identifying and promoting emerging talent. On September 27th, the singer-songwriter released her debut album, MI PIACE (OTR Live/ADA Music Italy).
In February and March, she toured across Italy with the MI PIACE TOUR, where she also introduced her latest single, Decostruire.
After the positive response to the live session of “Le chiese sono chiuse” together with the band I PATAGARRI, in July she releases the digital version of the project “Mi piace a casa di” (https://ada.lnk.to/mipiaceacasadi; OTR Live/ADA Music Italy), which also includes a new rendition of “U mari” in collaboration with Selton.
On July 8, 2025, she wins the Targa Tenco for Migliore Album Opera Prima — a major milestone for Anna Castiglia, who, with her debut record “MI PIACE”, secures one of the most prestigious awards in Italian singer-songwriting.
